As of 2023, Pam has worked 32 years for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). She has worked for Headquarters USACE as the National Water Safety Program Manager since September 2012 and before that she was a park ranger at Lake Shelbyville in Illinois. As manager of the USACE water safety program, Pam serves as subject matter expert to develop and implement strategic plans and policies for water safety programming nationwide, is responsible for providing water safety resources and guidance to all USACE lake and river offices, and develops partnerships with others that makes an impact towards saving lives on our nation’s waterways.
