Director of Aquatic Strategy and Quality Practices
Lindsay Mondick is the Director of Aquatic Strategy and Quality Practices for YMCA of the USA (Y-USA – the national resource office for the 2,600 YMCAs across the country). She joined Y-USA in 2015 and maintains a portfolio of work related to aquatic safety, aquatic programming, drowning prevention and training. Lindsay is a national spokesperson for Y-USA relating to drowning prevention and water safety. She is a regular speaker at national conferences and represents the YMCA as an advocate for water safety and drowning prevention at the federal level. Prior to this, Lindsay was with the YMCA of Greater Twin Cities for 14 years in a variety of aquatic leadership roles, including Association strategy. She holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from the University of New Mexico.
