Do you have a desire to help prevent drownings in your neighborhood? Are you already working to prevent drownings and want to learn more? Then the NDPA’s Pool and Spa Safety Educator (PSSE) program would be perfect for you. In coordination with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and PoolSafely.gov – the NDPA has developed a training program that will prepare you to volunteer in your neighborhood as a pool safety educator, preventing drowning and aquatic injury right where you live.
We need you to administer and educate homeowners through a 48 point Pool & Spa Safety Survey and checklist to ensure that they are using every layer of protection available to prevent drowning at their homes. Would you like to join us in this National pilot program? You can make a real difference. For more information on how you can become a Pool & Spa Safety Educator, please register with this website and select the link below. You will have access to the draft training material and be notified as soon as the online course becomes available!
