The National Drowning Prevention Alliance (NDPA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving lives through drowning prevention and water safety efforts. The NDPA’s mission statement is “To be a catalyst in drowning prevention.” The NDPA believes that drowning prevention is a complex public health issue requiring a multi-faceted approach through community education, scientific research & data, effective policy & codes, safety products, safety practices, and family support. The NDPA’s core beliefs, which are included in this document, reflect all the various aspects of drowning prevention that the NDPA believes are critical to our mission and fully encompass the wide scope of issues within drowning prevention.
By becoming an NDPA member you or your organization will be contributing to the NDPA’s overall mission to prevent drowning. Drowning IS Preventable, and with your membership and support, we can work together to help save lives.
